What You Will Do
As a Functional Consultant at BluePeak EDM, you will be the bridge between our clients’ business needs and our technical solutions. You will work on transformative projects, helping clients redefine their data governance and streamline their financial processes. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Gathering Requirements: You will lead discovery workshops to understand clients’ business processes and pain points, translating their needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Designing Solutions: You will design the EDM application’s functional components, including workflows, data hierarchies, and user permissions, ensuring the solution aligns with the client’s business objectives.
- Implementing & Configuring: You will configure the EDM application based on the approved design, ensuring it meets all business requirements.
- Testing and Validation: You will lead and support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, ensuring the solution is accurate and ready for go-live.
- Training & Adoption: You will develop and deliver training to client teams, empowering them to become proficient in using the new EDM system.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant with a focus on Oracle EPM, ERP, or a related field, with 2+ years of direct experience with Oracle Cloud EDM.
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of financial processes, including financial close, planning, and reporting. Experience with chart of accounts and departmental hierarchies is a must.
- Communication: You can effectively communicate complex ideas to both business and technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You have a strong ability to listen to client pains and translate them into a clear, actionable functional design.
Collaboration: You thrive in a team environment and can work seamlessly with solution architects and clients to ensure a project’s success.
